These are the kids of some good friends and neighbors. They are so sweet to Simon and usually the favor is returned. They've been calling him Salmon, I guess since they know a few Sams but also know that's not quite his name. Their other name for him? Mr. Mark's baby.

Saturday afternoon nap

We had a great time Saturday hanging out with friends at their parents' house on the river. We took their boat to go get biscuits for breakfast and enjoyed their company. After that, it was time to play in the water, so we swaddled Simon, plugged in a noise machine, and cranked the baby swing up to high. He slept there for two hours while we took turns playing with their jet ski and tubes. We had a great time, and Simon barely noticed that he missed his morning nap.
