In answer to your questions, we went with the more economical job as we didn't want to over invest in the house since we are not sure if we are going to be in this house 5 years from now.
As far as the fence, we got this program from This OlD House that allows you to upload pics and then play with the colors, and we just happend to upload a pic that was taken before we built the fence. No, it has not fallen down yet.
I love the color combo-however, beware those programs. James and I did that this summer when we painted our house, and in the daylight the color looked a lot different. I remember our painter from El Salvador saying, "Hmmm...this color too bright. Very popular in my country." Ulp. Luckily, they were able to tone it down. ha ha-it is a hard decision, but this one is great! Hilary
What do you think about this color? Green body, tan trim, copper accents.
